Cooking, I forsake thee!

Ok... just free you mind a bit.  Put your torches and pitchforks away. Some of you: prepare to be offended.

I think I've decided to stop cooking almost entirely.  Aside from the very basic basics, oatmeal for breakfast, sandwich stuff, mebby a box of salad, quesadilla stuff... I'm DONE buying groceries and cooking.

I've always felt bad that I don't cook more at home.  I've believe that economically it makes the most sense and like I should be able to cook better food at home for me and my bot.  I've decided this is untrue.

Buying groceries from a big ass chain store ie: Fred Meyer or WinCo probabally doesn't do anything but perpetuate the current model of food production/distribution.  A model which is COMPLETELY INCAPABLE of providing ME, a perfectly good "consumer", of decent peaches at ANY time of year, which is all I every really want anyway.  Also, I thow away probably %40 of the groceries I buy as they go bad before I cook them.  So screw it!  I'm DONE!!

The way I see it Asian Grill for steak and rice, Siam Café for red curry, Howies for big greasy bacon burgers, and Muchas Gracias for fish tacos is about enough for me to live on and pry about as fresh as whatever I'd buy from giant.box.grocery.store.com.  I'm just going to pretend to be socialist and these establishments have been ordained by the holy government to provide good nutritious food to "THE PEOPLE" in exchange for a few food vouchers.  Read: CASH. So aside from some guy food* and the occasional night that I can con my ex GF into cooking for me, my kitchen will be largely abandon.  Anyone want to rent it?

*Guy food:  Most breakfast food is guy food.  All food cooked outdoors on some type of fire is guy food providing it contains red meat.  Consult me for additions or subtractions to this definition.
